Inspired by the stained interiors of wine barrels, our Mihaela Collection is a masterfully crafted work of art. Each piece is built by a family of artisans using Oak veneers or American walnut veneers that has been hand-cut from the foothills surrounding their mountain village. Finishes are applied by hand—a closely guarded, secretive process that creates a rich color, accentuating the natural textures and organic grain patterns of the wood. * Frames are made from sustainably harvested Oak veneers (Vin Rosu finish) or American walnut veneers (Walnut finish). * Each piece is craftsman-built by a multigenerational family of artisans in Romania who apply finishes by hand following a closely guarded process that takes three days to complete. * Hand-carved detailing is artfully painted to appear as metallic accents. * Drawers feature finger grooves for a seamless, hardware-free look and sit on premium under-mounted, soft-close glides.
