About this piece

Our vintage-inspired Ubud Collection is crafted by artisan partners in Indonesia from sustainably sourced reclaimed teak. Featuring dovetail joinery and generously sized bases, each Ubud is waxed by hand to preserve every unique detail in the wood, creating a striking focal point in any room. * This collection is crafted from reclaimed teak wood. Each piece will display organic variations in color, texture, and detail including small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that add one-of-a-kind character. * Inspired by the ancient Japanese art of charring wood, pieces crafted in our hand-applied Shou Sugi Ban finish feature rich black tones, mimicking a scorched, textured appearance. * Pieces crafted in our Natural Waxed finish are enhanced with warm brown tones to achieve a harmonious, natural color. * Each piece features a wax topcoat for added protection and to emphasize the teak wood’s natural beauty. * Natural teak wood displays organic variations in color, texture, and detail that tell the unique story of each Ubud. * Hand-applied Shou Sugi Ban finishes feature rich, black tones with added depth—created by carefully charring wood surfaces. * Reclaimed wood may also feature small splits, knots, joint lines, or other features that add one-of-a-kind character. * Artisan-finished surfaces are waxed for added protection and to emphasize the teak wood’s natural beauty.

About Arhaus

Arhaus is a design-forward furniture retailer and brand—founded in 1986 and headquartered in Boston Heights, Ohio—that shoppers associate with elevated sofas, sectionals, and living-room collections in a modern-organic aesthetic. Official materials emphasize responsibly sourced, artisan-crafted furnishings and a vertical model that includes upholstery manufacturing plus global artisan partners, including a North Carolina manufacturing and distribution campus. People buy Arhaus when they want distinctive silhouettes, rich materials, and a branded showroom experience rather than a multi-line discount floor. On Furnzy PDPs, review dimensions, material notes, modular vs fixed layout, and whether the piece is custom order, then confirm Arhaus delivery, lead times, deposits, and return rules for that SKU. Prefer comparing finish samples in a showroom when natural materials and daylight shifts matter for a whole-room project.
