Bassett Furniture is a custom-maker posture brand: most upholstery is custom—no changes after about 24 hours and no returns. Non-custom pieces cancelled before delivery may incur about a 15% restocking fee. Financing is Synchrony. White-glove delivery. A protection plan is offered. Buy custom only when fabric and finish choices are final. White-glove delivery supports the made-to-order model; pickup isn’t the posture.

Bassett Furniture is a long-standing American maker and retailer—founded in 1902—that shoppers buy for customizable sofas, sectionals, and whole-home collections. Official company materials say about three-quarters of what Bassett sells is built, assembled, finished, or upholstered in the USA, with upholstery work highlighted in North Carolina and BenchMade solid-hardwood programs finished in Virginia. People choose Bassett when they want to tailor cover and configuration with help from a Bassett store or gallery design consultant. On the PDP, note custom vs stock, fabric grade, BenchMade vs quicker programs, lead time, and the retailer’s delivery and special-order return rules before you put a deposit down. Bring fabric priorities and room measurements to the design consult so the order ticket matches what you sat on.
