This low-profile foundation provides all the support of traditional options, tailored specially for use with our Ethan Allen® mattresses - it's thinner than the average foundation, so it doesn't exceed safety heights for bunk beds, and it also makes climbing in and out of bed easier for little ones. This should also be used with our platform beds, which can't take the height of a typical foundation.
