Caufield Grey Sofa Bed

About this piece

The Caufield Grey Sofa Bed blends a mid-century modern silhouette with convertible functionality to create a versatile modern living room furniture piece. A quilted tufted back with piped edge and a balanced, symmetrical profile pairs with track arms and tapered wooden legs for a low visual presence and clean lines. It converts easily into a full-size sleeper with an intuitive mechanism and cushioned support, making it a practical small space solution for studio apartments, dorms, and guest rooms. Upholstered in a soft polyester-blend fabric, the seating uses foam cushions topped with dacron wrapped foam for a medium-firm feel that is both supportive and cozy for lounging or sleeping. Structural integrity is emphasized at stress points while the wooden tapered legs add stability and a nod to retro 70s and mid-century modern references. Simple spot-clean care and durable upholstery help it stand up to daily use while adjustable back positioning gives flexible comfort for both seating and sleeping. * **Convertible Sleeper Mechanism** Intuitive multiway conversion into a full-size bed with secure support for overnight guests. * **Tufted Back With Piping** Quilted tufting and piped edge create a textured, tailored surface that maintains shape over time. * **Track Arms** Low-profile arms provide comfortable support without adding visual bulk to compact rooms. * **Dacron Wrapped Foam** A dacron layer over foam cushions preserves loft, reduces early sagging, and supports lasting comfort. * **Tapered Wooden Legs** Angled medium wood legs deliver stability and a vintage-inspired mid-century modern stance. * **Performance Polyester Blend** Durable polyester-blend upholstery resists everyday wear and accepts spot cleaning for easy care.
